For ambitious but less intelligent people, we always feel we could have accomplished more than the reality. How to handle this disappointment so that you can keep the motivation but filter out the negativity?

What is “hourly regret check”?
It is to ask yourself, if you will hate yourself in the next hour if you allow yourself spend THIS hour in THIS way. By picturing your next-hour self, you are not going to gain confidence immediately in what you should do, but you provided yourself a benchmark to learn from. You bring the question into awareness. That is all it matters.
Note, this may not work initially, because it takes time to learn things like:
- shift your mentality from “getting the best result” to “getting the protocol”
- if you will actually regret or what you actually care.
- how to make quick decision instead of getting paralyzed by your thoughts.
I said “hourly” only because that is how fast I can change my mind. You can do like min/hours/daily/weekly, if you tend to change your mind at different frequency.
